I want to explain the measures that we at Robertson Granite are taking to address the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation across the UK, and to reassure you that we are taking sensible steps to safeguard the service that we offer, and to prepare for any changes in the situation.
At present, we have experienced no delay in our shipping of containers from India due to COVID-19 and can still supply special imports within 8 weeks, standard stock and UK manufactured memorials well within that timeframe. Our staff and their family members are so far unaffected by the virus. We are encouraging all our staff to continue to apply simple personal hygiene measures in line with the NHS and Government guidance, to help protect themselves, their colleagues and those who visit our premises.
We have in place a Pandemic Plan to ensure that we are fully equipped and able to manage any escalation of the situation. This plan will enable the support services you are accustomed to receiving from our Drawing Office (quotations, order processing, inscription layouts, technical drawings and general advice), to continue should any of our staff be forced to self-isolate. In the meantime, as many of our personnel as practicably possible will be working from home for the foreseeable future. We will continue to monitor events closely over the coming days and weeks, and remain focused on providing a high standard of service.
For our trade customers, we should also say that we carry buffer stocks of many of the standard colours, shapes and sizes you are likely to sell. Please contact our head office (details listed at the bottom of this page) to ask for availability even if it isn’t a product you buy from us normally.
Should you have any questions regarding this message, or our contingency planning in general, please contact us by e-mail and we will respond as quickly as we can.
